Losing myself in imagination is where I'm most found.

 Born 1982, in a small Southern California town outside of the Mojave desert, Amber Renee' was exposed early to the art world. Her great grandmother was a famous artist in Los Angeles, CA. Her older sister is currently a reputable visual artist throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. 

Influenced by such artistic pioneers, Amber developed her own art of transforming images into thrilling stories. 

Amber later attended the University of California, Berkeley, on a full academic scholarship, where she studied Molecular & Cell Biology for the first two years, intending to become a Genetic Engineer. The school's atmosphere and education were aWeSomE, but she wondered if she really wanted to continue pursuing a politically involved career in science. Not to mention, she felt super homesick. 

Winter break of her second year at UCB, she moved back home to Southern California, transferring her scholarship to the University of California, Irvine. Since the school did not have Molecular & Cell Bio as a major (at the time), she took it as a clear indication to completely switch her major to something she had an organic talent and passion for: Writing! 

She switched to a triple-major in the arts, and somehow completed a 4-year degree in only two years at UCI, where she triple-majored in English, Writing & Literature, and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree.  

Familiarly classic style with a twist of unconventional surprise. Writing to dignify humankind rather than debase it. Writing for adults who don't need the conventional profanity, excessive violence, magic, sex, religion or politics in their entertainment. But crave a playful and dangerous ride through unrestricted, pure imagination.

 Writing intention: To give readers a story that will uncover details and meanings not seen during the initial time reading it.

Writing flow: Develop concepts with the acceptance that every story has already been told. The power is knowing that there are infinite ways to keep telling the same stories.

"My confession to you here today: although I'm an author, I personally am NOT a huge reader. Why? Because most literature can't capture my attention long enough. 

I relate to readers who need immediate & lasting depth, unconventional plots, and a high level of unpredictability all wrapped into one. Storylines that trigger something deep inside, every time, whether the category is humor or suspense. It has to play with my mind and impress a message upon it.

For this reason, I felt compelled to develop stories and publish them, especially for readers who don't like to read but love good story telling. Gravity Fiction will hopefully turn many humans back into book-people!
